Privacy Policy

SAI is a personal assistant you speak to. It works out what an errand
needs, calls a business on your behalf, and comes back with the
outcome. This page says what it stores to do that, who else sees it,
and how to get it back or get rid of it. It is written from the
product as built, not as a template — every claim below is something
the code can be checked against.
What SAI stores
Everything below is kept in one database, tied to your account, and readable only by you.
AccountYour email address, and the name, timezone and country you give at sign-up or that your phone's own language settings report — the country is used only to weight business lookups towards the right one and is never a location: SAI has no access to GPS or any other location signal.
ConversationsThe text of what you say to SAI and what it answers back — typed or spoken. Speech is transcribed as you talk; the audio itself is never stored, in the app or on a phone call. The transcript is the record.
MemoriesShort written summaries SAI forms from your conversations overnight, so it knows you next week — "user's daughter sees Dr. Patel", that kind of thing. Built once a day, in a batch, never while you are mid-conversation.
FactsDetails you have given SAI so it can answer a receptionist without asking you again mid-call — a date of birth, an insurer's name, a callback number. Free text, one value per label. A callback number is proven with an SMS code before it is ever given to a business — an unverified number cannot leave the product.
ActionsA record of what SAI did: calendar events it created, calls it made, and the full transcript of what was said on each one. This is how a booking can be checked afterwards.
PlacesBusinesses you have confirmed SAI may call — a name, phone number and address — kept so it does not ask you to confirm the same clinic twice.
DevicesA push-notification token for your phone, so SAI can tell you an errand finished. Removed when you sign out.
UsageHow much of SAI you have used — tokens, minutes, characters — kept to measure cost. Never shared and never used for advertising.
ErrorsWhat the app crashed on, with its version and platform. Never the content of what you said.
Calls SAI makes go through outside companies
SAI is not one company's product end to end. A conversation, or a call,
passes through a small number of specialist services, each of which
sees only the part it needs to do its job:
SupabaseThe database everything above is stored in, including sign-in. Hosted in the United States (us-west-1).
GoogleSign in with Google, if you use it. Also Google Places, to look up a business's phone number when you name a place rather than dictate its number — only the search you asked for, never your conversation or your memories.
AppleSign in with Apple, if you use it. Apple learns you signed in to SAI and nothing else; SAI never receives your Apple password.
ElevenLabsHolds the phone conversation when SAI calls a business for you — the speech on the line and the model that decides what to say. This is separate from talking to SAI in the app.
TelnyxThe telephone line SAI's calls go out on, and the SMS verification codes used to prove a callback number is really yours before it is ever handed to a business.
OpenRouter, and the model providers it routes toText understanding for ordinary conversation, planning what an errand needs, and the nightly memory summaries — routed through OpenRouter to models from Google, Mistral AI and IBM, whichever answers fastest and correctly for that step.
GroqSpeech-to-text when you talk to SAI inside the app (not a phone call to a business) — the audio of that turn, to turn it into text. Discarded once transcribed.
Fish AudioText-to-speech for SAI's spoken replies inside the app — the text of the reply, to speak it back to you.
Google CloudHosts the voice server that holds a session with the app and dials out to ElevenLabs. Runs in the United States (us-west1).
Expo / EASDelivers app updates to your phone, and relays the push notification that tells you an errand finished — your device's push token and the notification text pass through Expo's push service on their way to Apple.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone for advertising. SAI
does not use your data to train its own models; each of the companies
above is used on its own terms, which is a matter between you and them
if you want the detail, but none of the arrangements above are
advertising arrangements.
What a business SAI calls actually hears
When SAI phones somewhere on your behalf, it introduces itself as
your assistant and says who it is calling for. If the person on the
line asks whether they are talking to a machine, it answers
truthfully that it is an AI assistant; it never denies it. It is
built to share only what that specific errand needs — a receptionist
booking an appointment hears your name and the errand; they do not
learn there is a date of birth on file unless the booking itself asks
for one, and even then only that one fact leaves the product. Nothing
is volunteered. The full transcript of the call is kept with the
record of the errand and you can read it any time.
SAI never dials an emergency number, however a request is phrased, and
a phone number is never invented — it is either read out by you, or
found through a Google Places lookup that you confirmed before it was
ever dialled.
Memory
Once a day, in a batch job that runs overnight — never while you are
talking to it — SAI reads back over your recent conversations and
writes short summaries so it remembers things about you without
re-reading every conversation you have ever had. You can see everything
it has written about you through the data export below; deleting
the account deletes all of it.
Getting it back, and getting rid of it
- Export my data, in the app's settings, returns everything this page describes as one file — conversations, memories, facts, call transcripts, all of it.
- Delete my account, in the app's settings, removes the account and everything tied to it — profile, conversations, memories, facts, actions, usage, errors. This cannot be undone and nothing is archived.
Both happen immediately and neither requires asking anyone. If you
would rather ask a person, or you live somewhere with a specific right
to exercise — California's CCPA, for instance, gives you the right to
know what is collected and to have it deleted — write to
support@assistmesai.com.
The two controls above are how those rights are exercised here, and
using them changes nothing else about how SAI treats you.
Children
SAI is not intended for anyone under 13, and no account should be created for one.

This page changes when the product does. The date at the top is when it last did.
